Please note that all shipping charges are estimated. We only charge what it costs us to ship roses, but plants vary in volume and weight such that exact calculations cannot always be made until the order is packed. Shipping charges for tree roses in particular are difficult to estimate exactly.

To estimate the shipping on tree roses multiply the number of tree roses by 4 and check the chart. For example 2 tree roses plus 2 regular roses would count as 10 roses and the shipping would be according to the chart.

Perennial or Tree/Shrub Order Shipping Note: Orders containing Perennials or Trees & Shrubs will have to be calculated by the office at shipping time. As always, we only charge what it costs us to ship the plants. Thank you for your understanding.

Canadian Postage Charges

Combine the number of roses with the first letter of your postal code to determine shipping cost.

Canadian parcels will be shipped either by First Class Canadian Post (Express Mail). . If you have a preference we will honour your preference. The chart below is approximate only. Any appreciable difference in the charges will be charged or credited back to you. The charges shown include packing costs. Canpar and the Canadian Mail Service have comparable rates to most major points in Canada. If you wish any other carrier we will honour your wishes, and will charge accordingly. This table is using Canadian dollars.

USA UPS Shipping Charges

For shipments to the continental U.S.A. we recommend UPS ground service, customs formalities are arranged through our broker, which costs are included in the shipping rates as is the cost of inspection by Agriculture Canada and the issuance of a phytosanitary certificate. We strongly recommend "Second Day" service from Buffalo, NY for orders traveling in Late December, January or February. From March through the end of the season ground service shipping provides timely, reliable service. Shipping to Buffalo may at times be delayed if too cold. Please provide your phone number so the shipper or we may contact you if difficulties arise with delivery. We do not ship via post to the U.S.A.

The rates quoted are for the continental U.S.A. only, for Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska please inquire.

Standard Ground (includes packing and inspection fees). Please calculate your cost by the number of rose ordered and add this to the amount of your order. States in the Rocky Mountains and west should add $2.00 to each classification.

Countries other than Canada/USA

We ship world wide. In order to facilitate your order, please submit a copy of your "Permit to Import" from your Department of Agriculture, with your order. Shipping costs for foreign orders are usually quoted at time of shipping, since the cost cannot be established until the parcel is packed and ready to be shipped. We ship at cost to you.

Shipping & Handling

Orders, which are not paid in full at preparation time for shipping, are subject to postponement and/or adjustment as to the number of plants in accordance with the part-payment received.

If at shipping time it is too risky weather-wise, then we reserve the right to postpone shipping.

Shipping Times

We ship to the USA with our own refrigerated truck to a UPS depot in your area for local delivery. We try to maintain the following shipping schedule, although it is ultimately at our discretion, based on weather variables and your location.

November (and mid march to early June) For Canada, North and Eastern USA.
Late November and throughout the winter months to Southern USA.
January to the end of May to Western USA. For Western Canada, please order by November for shipping in February.

Update: With our new temperature and moisture-controlled warehouse we can now ship all year providing our temperatures are above freezing.
